Agape – April 12, 2025

Within the splendid setting of Viglas Castle, the International Headquarters of the Fraternitas Ordo Draconis (FOD), the traditional Spring Agape of the Order took place on April 11 and 12, 2025. Guests of Honor at the Ceremony included the Prince Magister of the Monastic Templar Order of the Pelican’s Mercy, H.E. Nino Aloi, accompanied by Princess N.D. Antonia De Salvo and a large delegation.

During the Ceremony, in the presence of His Beatitude Cosma I and the highest authorities of both Orders, including Lieutenant Grand Master H.E. Manlio Bertucci and Grand Marshal H.E. Francesco Parrucci, the two Grand Masters, Count Daniel von Rechitar and Prince Magister Nino Aloi, sealed a solemn Pact of Honor, Collaboration, and Alliance between the two Orders.

At the conclusion of the initiation rite, conducted by Grand Ceremonier Antonio Bertucci, Grand Master of Ceremonies Pasquale Zacheo, and Grand Secretary Mariana Anghel, the Order awarded individuals who distinguished themselves in 2024 for promoting Culture, Tolerance, and Peace by establishing the Viglas Pax International Award.

The awards, recognizing the promotion of the project “Sadko: Art, Beauty, and Peace on the Road of Puglia” for disseminating Russian culture with an eye toward international harmony, were presented to Professors Maria Teresa Alfonso (appointed on this occasion as Grand Dame of the FOD), Marina Buccoliero, and Giuseppe Strusi.

On this occasion, Nicolò Mannino, President of the Parliament of Legality, was appointed Commander of the FOD and designated as the Order’s liaison for cultural dialogue in favor of Peace with the Pontifical Academy of Theology of Vatican City. Additionally, Commander Mannino honored the Grand Master of the FOD, Daniel von Rechitar, with the title of Ambassador of Peace in Memory of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

Both recognitions were presented by Grand Bailiff General Vittorio Giammaria Tomaselli and Dame Darja Vasilyeva. Furthermore, for his proven dedication to others and commendable conduct, H.E. Roberto Galanti, Honorary Consul of Moldova in Italy, was appointed Grand Officer ad Honorem of the Order and High Representative for Institutional Relations with other Orders.

Noteworthy was the Forum held on the morning of April 12 by Knight Officer Professor Aimé Lay-Ekuakille, Grand Prior of Congo, on the topic: “Innovative Approaches in Robotic Neurophysiological Rehabilitation and Diagnostics: Priority to Social Inclusion and the Role of Knighthood.”
